Brian D. Chmielewski manages a general legal practice with particular emphasis in the areas of divorce, custody, guardianships, conservatorships, adoptions, criminal law and other business nad civil justice matters involving the defense, protection and restoration of protected state and federal civil rights throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Among other things, Brian has assisted clients throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin by defending criminal and civil matters, negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements, through trial representation to fight for custody and parenting time, with amicable and not-so-amicable divorces, enforcing spousal maintenance and child support awards and with resolving disputes pre-litigation through various alternative dispute resolution and arbitration settings.

Born at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, Brian earned a double major Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Political Science from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and his Juris Doctor degree was conferred upon him by University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, formerly The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois.

Brian is admitted to practice before the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the Minnesota Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota and the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Washington County Bar Association, the Ramsey County Bar Association and Wills for Heroes.

Mr. Chmielewski's viewpoint is that each person is entitled to exceptional representation for a reasonable price.
